COURSE DESCRIPTION

Creating and applying mappings for the .Stat Suite is an online course for users migrating from the legacy .Stat to the new .Stat Suite; or the organisations looking to map other SDMX structures (e.g., Global DSDs) and data and upload them into the .Stat Suite.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand the main scenarios for using mappings.
  • Describe how mappings are managed in SDMX.
  • Use Fusion Metadata Registry to manage SDMX mappings between two structures with different dimensionality and/or code list representation for:
    – Performing steps for mapping the two SDMX structure components (dimensions/attributes)
    – Creating and managing code mappings
    – Testing the mappings between the structures
  • Apply mappings to data files using Fusion Metadata Registry and upload mapped data files to the .Stat Suite.

In each module you will be asked a few questions to help you remember the contents and reinforce your understanding.
