WHO WE ARE

The Statistical Information System Collaboration Community (SIS-CC) is a reference open source community for official statistics, focusing on product excellence and delivering concrete solutions to common problems through co-investment and co-innovation.

The SIS-CC share common goals and similar needs in terms of data dissemination and production, who are interested in mutualising costs and sharing knowledge, and committed to foster common standards.

The .Stat Academy brings together activities where the Community supports the building of capacities to enable wider and quicker usage of .Stat Suite. These activities are defined by audience (Data Toolers, Data Producers) and positioned in the Community 2020-2025 strategy.

WHAT WE DO

The .Stat Academy and related activities are contributing to a number of the objectives by supporting capacity building in the .Stat Suite for Data Toolers and Data Producers, an increased adoption of SDMX, and good data/metadata modelling practices, visibility on SIS-CC members and partners projects, encouraging contributions from all, and, an increased contribution to .Stat Suite product development.

The .Stat Academy provides a virtual online environment where experts (“instructors”) share knowledge and expertise through training courses, webinars, and other resources, guiding the user community through learning journeys and certification paths, designed to build your knowledge over time and at your own pace, in the .Stat Suite and related topics.
